• Hollywood Video in the Local Supermarket  Ran up to the local Cub Foods for a last minute dinner item this evening and snapped the above photo of the new Hollywood Video Express Kiosk over in a part of the store I never go to (Sturgeon’s Revelation frequently comes to mind while I’m grocery shopping). I found two things interesting about this moment.
• Weblog, Podcast, Videoblog Workshop - March 25, 2006 at Acadia Cafe If you’re interested in starting a weblog, podcast, or videoblog and don’t know where to start, come by the Acadia Cafe (1931 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55403) on March 25th between 2-6pm. I’ll be there, with (hopefully) many other local bloggers, podcasters, and videobloggers to show you the ropes. Everyone leaves with more knowledge
• Garrick Talking Blogs at the MN ISPI Feb 19th Meeting On Feb 19th, I’ll be talking about using blogs, wikis, podcasts, et. al for team training and knowledge management with the MN chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement. More info at the MNISPI.org site It should be fun.
• Camp Shoppy? So, Camp Snoopy is leaving Mall of America. I think the Mall has a huge opportunity to develop their own cheesy mascots - like the Olympics does. Problem is, they need a new name as well. Hmmmmm. Here’s an easy fix: Turn the ‘n’ into an ‘h’ and the second ‘o’ into a ‘p’.
• Bye Rex, Thanks for the Party (Matt Thompson from the Strib and me in a MNstories video documenting the party.)
