VillageFest 5k - 28:20 A light, refreshing rain started with the VillageFest 5k this morning. The course was a nice tour of the south-western corner of the Village, with a few more zigs and zags than I’d like.
Even in the rain, a few fellow citizens - including Jen and C - stood on the corners to cheer everyone on.
AppleScript: Send iTunes Playlist to MarsEdit In preparation for declaring my picks from the 2007 SXSW Showcasing Artist tracks, I’ve put together an Applescript that pulls the track names, artists, ratings, and comments from an iTunes playlist and sends them to MarsEdit for blog posting.
The script even makes a half-hearted attempt to guess the artist’s website and direct mp3 link.

New iTunes Podcast Categorization and WP-iPodCatter On Friday, I received an email from Apple’s iTunes Podcasting team that they’re changing the categories in the iTunes directory. So, I updated the WP-iPodcatter plugin to reflect these changes.
Like their removal of item-level categorization, I’m not crazy about these changes.
There are 2 ‘Other’ categories (in Religion, Games & Hobbies). But not in any
