DRM: Doesn’t Really Matter
12 Dec 2006 in Apple, iTunes by GarrickIf I buy CDs these days, it’s directly from the artist. It’s far more likely that I’ll just give my favorite artist a few bucks. Oh, and then there’s this whole DRM-free podcasting-thing.

Darrel added these pithy words on Dec 13 06 at 11:40 amI think Darren is making a poor assumption thinking that those that don’t want DRM would consider buying a $20 CD as the easier alternative.
People will just download it for free or from a russian site or from eMusic or the like.
