  3. Elliott, yes, that could happen and it means something you wrote about is very popular for a specific search query. Something of a good problem.

    Since my email isn’t searched by googlebot, sending the alert there doesn’t impact my ranking. If you’d rather not get an email alert – feel free to write a couple lines of code to send the alert somewhere else.
