Small MacBook Pro Joys
5 Jun 2006 in Apple, MacBookPro, Macintosh by GarrickAfter living with a 17″ MacBook Pro for a couple weeks, there’s a couple things I’ve been pleasantly surprised with:
- MagSafe magnetic power connector
Connecting the power cord takes far less precise alignment than before. Get the connector near the socket and it’s magnetically pulled in. Small joys. - Horizontal scrolling trackpad
No, I probably won’t be complaining about horizontal scrolling anymore…probably be encouraging it because it’s just so dang much fun.

Courtney added these pithy words on Jun 06 06 at 1:11 pmI just bought the 13″ MacBook Pro and I can’t get enough of it! All the “small” joys you have with your 17″ are just as fun with the 13″–which actually feels more like a 15″ with the widescreen.
Apple finally got it. Maybe it’s too soon to say, but I think it’s the best of both worlds.
