Xcel Energy started including WindSource…
14 Apr 2007 in General by GarrickXcel Energy started including WindSource charges as a line item on their monthly billing statements. We buy all of our energy through that program and I’ve been curious to see how much it actually adds to our bill. This month: $12. Such a small amount to support renewable energy programs.

Ed Kohler added these pithy words on Apr 15 07 at 11:54 pmI’m a big fan of WindSource too. I believe I read earlier today in the Pioneer Press that Xcel is the top wind buyer in the country % wise. That’s cool, but I’d still like to see more.
