Grammar Reminder: I.E. or E.G. ?

i.e. = “that is” (Latin: “id est”)
e.g. = “for example” (Latin: “exempli gratia”)

    Here’s another good one: “I couldn’t care less.” (Saying “I could care less” is the opposite of what they really mean)
