Pricing is where it all comes together; your value proposition, features, benefits, your target customer, and the ‘Buy’ button.

Sometimes, in the haste of getting to the market, the pricing page doesn’t get the full attention it deserves. Features and benefits are quickly written from the perspective of the service provider – not the customer, more focus is put on inputs than outcomes, pricing tiers aren’t clear and distinct, and maybe the pricing model itself sets up an unexpected incentive. All too often there’s nothing more permanent than a temporary solution.

If you haven’t revised your pricing page in a year, or two, or 13, it can be a bit overwhelming. So, let’s start off easy with my 10-point pricing page assessment.

Each of the 10 points focuses on clearly communicating the value customers will get from your offering, creating a roadmap for improving it and your business.
